DaY 1 of blogging..................

So I am new to this, but I know that I am going to love what I am doing because it involves one of my loves........writing!!  This blog will not only be for me, but other moms or dads who have mom roles to come and say hello, vent, share your hopes and dreams with me, or just to find out more about what is going on in my life on the day that you visit this blog.  Please feel free to share comments and concerns that you have with me.  We are here for each other and can learn a lot from people when they share information.

Today was a pretty easy going day for someone who is five and a half months pregnant.  This is my second child.  I have a son who is 15, and excited about his baby brother coming into this world.  I think God gave me a boy for him because I was hoping for a girl! Lol.  When my son heard the news, well rather saw the ultrasound a few weeks ago, he gained bragging rights!  He told me, "yes, yes in your face"!!!  A little to excited I would say he is, would not you? (:

I am happy he got what he wanted, and I just want a healthy baby with all functions working properly to be born into this world.

I must say that I did not think I would have more children.  Well, no that is not entirely true.  I have thought about it over the years, but as my son aged, I just did not think it would happen.  And then I met this lady, for a brief moment back in April who was pushing  a stroller with a beautiful little baby girl inside.  So babies attract attention right?  Yes they do.  Anywho, I asked the mom was this her first and she told me no.  In fact it was her second child.  Her first child was 20 years old!  Whooooa I thought to myself,  "she is going to be starting over".  Then another thought came to me that said, "that probably will be me".  Talk about thinking things into existence right? Lol.  Now if I could only think of the right lottery numbers I could quit my job, go visit Hawaii and Tahiti, shop til I drop in Vegas, and go to school full time.  Lolololol.  I am just having fun, but it would be nice!

All that to say, it is not easy being the mother of a teenager, working full time, going to school part time, being pregnant full time, not getting proper rest at night because I cannot get comfortable or I have to get up to go the bathroom for the third time, or working when you would rather be sleeping, and the list could go on and on and on, but I will digress.

Enjoy your evening folks and I will talk to you later.

Ciao!
