DaY 2..............
I got off early today. I am always glad to be home from work. Who likes their job anyway? I mean enough to say, and I quote, "I love my job"!!! Yeah, I know what your thinking. People who love their job. Lol. Well, one day I am sure that I will be able to say that, BUT until then........I am grateful to God for continuously supplying my needs at the job that I am currently at now, and TGIF!!!!!
So, me and my grandmother are about to go out and get our toes done. Her birthday is Monday, and we are celebrating tomorrow. She wants seafood, and of course I will oblige her, but I have to find something on the menu that I can eat. (wow this baby never misses a beat. At around the same time everyday he must be turning flips, doing karate chops, or hiccuping). Now, I already do not eat chicken, pork, or beef, and since Memorial Day, no shrimp or the likes of for me either.
WHY DO YOU ASK?????
Well obviously my unborn son does not want his mom eating shrimp. I woke up on Memorial Day with swollen eyes! Half way closed and swollen where my eyebrows start and where eyeshadow goes. Talk about scared!! I drove myself to the hospital, and my ob doctor said stay away from shrimp until after the pregnancy. Just great!! Now my food preferences are even more diminished.
So I have to find a seafood place that offers more than seafood.
Any suggestions?
Try Shogun, the Japanese steakhouse by Town Center Mall. They have a hibachi lunch special! Grandma can get the shrimp special, and you can get the vegetarian special. Neither of you will spend more than $7.00 or $8.00, and it's a ton of food - especially helpful since you're eating for two. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Sara! I'll look into it. (:
